Motorola Defy

The Motorola Defy is a tough and durable cell phone, designed in Motorolas own words “To take everything life can throw at it.” Well nearly everything. The aptly named Defy uniqueness is the fact that it is water resistant up to one meter, it is dust resistant and has greater resistance to getting scratched, with the 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen made from a stronger glass that is less likely to scratch on contact with other objects.
The Motorola Defy runs on Android 2.1 operating system, and not the newer 2.2 version. The high-resolution 3.7″ WVGA display stretches from corner to corner to enhance media files and an 800 mhz processor is present for improved surfing and multitasking.
The Defy is also fitted with extra touch sensors in the display resulting in superior responsiveness. As expected, the Android marketplace is fully supported, giving you the choice of thousands of applications and download options. For file sharers, DLNA is fully enabled allowing you to stream, store & share files with multiple devices around your home or office.


The Motorola Defy is equipped with a good quality 5 Megapixel camera and video facility, complete with digital zoom and an LED flash. An internal 2 GB memory, which is expandable via the expansion slot will ensure that thousands of pictures, videos and files can be saved securely, and the crystal talk technology will ensure that you can still hold a conversation even in the loudest most difficult environments. This is a good, solid cell phone, complete with all the features you would come to expect, and built to last.
